At Wingfield care, our mission is to provide stimulating, individualised care, to enable people with Dementia to spend more time out of their homes.

The service was borne out of the belief that there should be more options for those with dementia. Many of those who suffer from dementia will require care in some way, and usually, this will be provided by loved ones, homecare agencies, or care homes. Whilst these are all necessary and valuable services, we thought another option should be available. Loved ones cannot shoulder the burden alone, and require time to have a rest or resume their careers. Whilst homecare agencies, and care homes are expensive, and in the case of homecare, require the individual to stay in their own home.

Our service is less than half the cost of a typical care agency, and gives family members the peace of mind that their loved ones will be looked after with care and dignity, whilst having fun in the process. The days are organised around the needs of the individual. If there are certain activities they like or dislike, we can facilitate that. We offer:
